Name the cemetery explicitly and distinguish it from similarly named sites. Ask for the complete grave reference, not only approximate directions.
On the grounds
Transfer the grave reference to the cemetery map. The interactive map helps with entrances and landmarks but does not replace a burial plan or official grave enquiry.
The official plan divides the woodland cemetery into eight sections. Ask for the complete section reference rather than only a compass direction. Then choose one of the four entrances on Burgenlandweg; the transport stop and Dutch field of honour are useful landmarks for the northern area.
Always name Waldfriedhof Oberrad explicitly in an enquiry. Alter Friedhof Oberrad is a different cemetery, and the woodland setting south of the district can otherwise lead to a mistaken assignment.
