The woodland cemetery lies south of Oberrad in Frankfurt’s municipal forest; it is not Alter Friedhof Oberrad.
By bus and on foot
The Waldfriedhof Oberrad stop is directly beside the northern edge. The entrance by the stop is only a short walk away. Frankfurt’s cemetery information lists buses 81 and 82; check the RMV timetable and departure platform before travelling.
Entrances and parking
Four entrances are distributed along Burgenlandweg. The map shows three parking options: street-side spaces in the west, a western customer car park and the public car park by Burgenlandweg 10 in the east. Local signs and access rules take precedence.
Planning a quiet visit
A western entrance is convenient for the Dutch field of honour. Bus passengers can use the entrance beside the stop. Paths cross wooded ground, so sturdy footwear helps in wet weather.
